About Us
From the region for the region – with pleasure
Thomas and Yoko Kleiber are the third generation to run the Maiehof together with 4 to 8 employees.
The farm was converted to organic farming as early as the 1970s.
Anton and Vrene Kleiber (Thomas’ parents) were already enthusiastic about the possibilities of organic farming.
Even today, sustainable production has a high priority on the company!
Water-saving systems are used for irrigation and resistant varieties are planted.
A wide range of vegetables and fruits are grown.
“It is important to us to always try out new things in addition to the traditional types of vegetables.”
Individual Japanese vegetables are cultivated and bought with great enthusiasm by customers at the market.
In addition, 400 laying hens are kept, which enjoy daily access to the pasture. These are the only animals on the Maiehof.
The products are mainly sold at five weekly markets and in the farm shop.
We also supply organic shops, restaurants and other farm shops.
